I had an incredible experience at Kana Kato. the room was clean and well-equipped with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. the staff were accommodating and allowed us to join a last-minute excursion to the Nubian village with a fantastic boat captain. the breakfast provided was delicious, and we enjoyed a homemade dinner at the hotel for a fair price. I appreciated that they provided a menu with prices in the room, so there was no need for negotiation. the owner had a great philosophy and created a peaceful atmosphere in the establishment. the location on Elephantine Island offered a great view of the Nile, and we could relax on the terrace while watching the river activity. If I return to Aswan, I will definitely choose Kana Kato.
Nothing to mention.

I had the best experience during my Egypt trip at Kana Kato. the hotel is located on the picturesque Elephantine Island, offering magnificent views of the Nile, day and night. It's a peaceful retreat away from the city noise, and returning to the hotel by boat after a day of exploring was a highlight. the room was spacious, clean, and matched the photos. Ahmed, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, organizing excursions and providing helpful recommendations. I have fond memories of my 4-night stay and highly recommend Kana Kato. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 🌟.

I had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel! The location on Elephantine Island was so peaceful and the view of the Nile was absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all of my needs were taken care of. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and the Egyptian breakfast they served was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
Although the shower was a bit unconventional with the water cascading onto the bathroom floor, it wasn't a major issue as the floor dried quickly. the room was a bit small, but it didn't hinder my overall experience.

Our stay at the hotel was worth every penny. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a breathtaking view. The location on Elephantine Island was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff treated us like family, making us feel safe, comfortable, and always ready to assist us.
Breakfast delights, a wider variety of options would have made it even better.

The triple room at Kana Kato was amazing! It had air conditioning and a balcony where we could enjoy stunning river views. The private bathroom was spacious and had a refreshing shower. It was so nice to have a seating area in the room too. we felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay.
The only drawback for us was that our double room didn't have a flat-screen TV. But hey, that's just our personal preference.
